Brighton’s Annual Handbag Trade-In Charity Drive

Please join us in our 27^th annual Handbag Trade-In Charity Drive, and help us achieve our goal of collecting 15,000 gently used Handbags (any style, any brand) to be donated to women who are struggling within our local communities.

 Many women have the good fortune to own a number of handbags, and have one (or more) that they no longer carry which could bring joy to someone less fortunate. As our owner and founder Jerry Kohl explains: “The simple gift of a handbag can lift a woman’s spirits and help give her confidence when she is interviewing for a much-needed job.” That can make a life-changing difference. 

Between July 24^th and Aug 9^th bring in gently used handbags you’d like to donate, and as our thank you receive a $25 or $50 bonus towards a brand new handbag purchase that day. Visit us in-store to participate and learn more. 

Giving back has been part of our culture at Brighton since the beginning, and our annual Handbag Trade-In Event is just one example of how we continue to strive to make a positive difference in the communities surrounding our stores– we want to Carry it Forward.
